"The state general fund is at its highest level in history."

- Zack Conine, Nevada State Treasurer, says we are in a really good place from the state finance perspective after breaking $10 billion a few weeks ago. He adds that it doesn’t mean that Nevadans are necessarily in a great place, but it’s important to use this success to help people, explaining that when the state does better from an investment perspective, there is more money to spend on “all types of government services we can provide without having to raise taxes.”
