- Bryan Wachter, Senior Vice President, Retail Association of Nevada, says it seems that at the end of many sessions there are large increases in financing and investment into public education, but there aren’t results benefiting those who are in the system now. He adds that this has lifetime implications to both the students and our economy in Nevada. Alexander Marks, NSEA Political Coordinator, agrees with accountability measures, adding that while the $2 billion in additional funding is a “good start” we will run through it quickly with inflation and past chronic underfunding.
