- State Senator Melanie Scheible (D) District 9 explains SJR7, which proposes to amend the Nevada Constitution to include a provision that protects the right to choose. She says this would strengthen the protection by “actually inserting language into the constitution that says that every person regardless of their age, sex, gender, sexuality, gender identity or orientation that they have the right to bodily autonomy and reproductive freedom here in the state of Nevada.”
