- Zach Conine, Nevada State Treasurer, responds to opponent Michele Fiore’s criticism that he’s politicizing investments of the state, referring to the decision to divest $89 million dollars from manufacturers and retailers of assault-style weapons. He says those companies were deemed risky by their office, and if anyone questions that investment or any other investment made, he says he’d “simply ask them to look at the outcome and the hundreds of millions of dollars in investment returns we’ve had for Nevada.”
