- Misty Snopkowski, NASA Program Exec for Commercial Spacecraft, says it’s very realistic for regular people to start experiencing space, and that as more commercial crew programs gain experience, the cost to get more people into space will come down. She says the vision is that once the Space Station retires in 2030, they’ll have commercial LEO platforms in lower orbit so that more people can come into space to live, work, research, and even for tourism.
